Meet your neighbor

Casey Church of Conway is a Pennsylvania native. She moved to the area to attend Coastal Carolina University.

She graduated in 2008 and is now museum services coordinator at the Simeon B. Chapin-Franklin G. Burroughs Art Museum in Myrtle Beach.

The Wyeth family of artists lived in her hometown. Their art was a big part of her childhood, and her job has revived those memories.

She is a "huge" Philadelphia Eagles fan and likes scary movies. Her favorite television show is "Project Runway."

The best advice my mother gave me was | the moment you stop smiling is the moment life got too serious.

One good thing about my job is | I get to do a million things and I never get bored.

One of my most prized material possessions is | a gold crucifix that was my Pop-pop's (grandfather's). He gave it to me about a year before he passed away.
