Prom tales win tickets to gala

Stephen Young of Nefconset, N.Y., shot a hole in one on Oct. 16 at the Woodland Valley Golf Course in Loris. Young made the hole in one on No. 16 from 180 yards.

Rocker supports breast cancer effort

Katie's Project teamed up with Allie Tague (pictured right), a Coastal Carolina University graphic design student, for the Conway Medical Center Foundation's Ladies Rock!, a fundraiser to support breast cancer awareness. Tague designed and painted a rocking chair for the silent auction.
