Pelicans announce 2010 home schedule

MYRTLE BEACH -- The Myrtle Beach Pelicans announced their 2010 home schedule on Thursday, with a Fourth of July contest and the California-Carolina League All-Star Game highlighting the slate.

The Pelicans play host to the all-star game June 22, with festivities kicking off the day before. Then in July, Myrtle Beach will host Salem on Independence Day.

The Pelicans' home opener will be against the Wilmington Blue Rocks on April 8.

Myrtle Beach will also be home and have a fireworks show on Father's Day (June 19).
