Gerry Rodriguez hit a one-out triple to drive in two runs and Jesus Sucre followed with a sacrifice fly as the Myrtle Beach Pelicans outlasted the Wilmington Blue Rocks 5-2 in 13 innings Monday night.

The Blue Rocks took a 2-0 lead in the first inning when Mike Moustakas hit a two-run home run. The Pelicans got their first run in the third on a single by Michael Fisher. Myrtle Beach tied the game in the fifth when a run scored via error on a groundout by Jesus Sucre.
