A pair of local runners had top 10 finishes Saturday at the S.C. Cross Country State Championships. Andrews senior Migueal Omedo-Polida had the highest finish of any area runner, finishing sixth in the Class AA boys race in 17 minutes, 3.75 seconds. In the Class AA/A girls race, Waccamaw's Grace Barnett was the only area runner in the top 10, finishing in 20:32.25 to lead the Warriors to a 10th place finish.
