New Home Parade

Universal design and green construction are two of the new trends presented to home buyers in this year's New Home Parade.

Sponsored by The Horry Georgetown Home Builders Association, the tour includes 21 homes this year. From the $180,565 Victoria model at The Lakes at Plantation Pines to the $1 million Tradewinds III model at The Grand Dunes, this tour of 21 homes has something for every home buyer.

Tour homes open at 1 p.m. Friday for the three weekend event. The hours are: 1 to 5 p.m. Fridays and Sundays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. The event ends on April 5. The awards banquet will be held at the Crown Reef Conference Center on April 2 at 5:30 p.m.

The self-directed tour is free. The New Home Parade magazine featuring photos, floor plans, directions and a map will be distributed in The Sun News on March 17.
