CONWAY -- Coastal Carolina rode a 26-2 first-half run en route to a 60-41 win over UNC Asheville at Kimbel Arena on Monday night.
With the victory, the Chanticleers moved to 14-8 overall and 5-5 in Big South Play, while the Bulldogs fell to 6-17 and 1-9 in the league.
Amanda Stull led Coastal (14-8, 5-5 Big South) with 12 points, while Katie White and Sydnei Moss added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Lindsey Montgomery scored 14 points to lead the Bulldogs (6-17, 1-9).

Men's college basketball
Coastal Carolina's Joseph Harris has been named the Big South Conference Player of the Week, while teammate Danny Nieman was named The Big South Conference Freshman of the Week.
Harris averaged 20.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 72.0 percent from the field (18-of-25) in two Big South wins last week.
Nieman came off the bench to average 11.5 points, 7.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds in Coastal Carolina's two wins last week.
Girls basketball
(At) Aynor 43, Mullins 41 | Sophomore Keyana Rutledge had a game-best 25 points and 13 rebounds as the Blue Jackets locked up Region VIII-AA's final playoff spot. Aynor will be the region's fourth seed and open its postseason on the road next Tuesday against the Region VII-AA champion.
