Butler (N.C.) High safety Spencer Adams has committed to Clemson while in Orlando for the Under Armour All-America game.

Adams, who is 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, plans to play football and run track at Clemson according to Butler defensive coordinator Steve Shaughnessy, who is in Orlando with Adams for the all-star game.

"He can play any position in the secondary," Shaughnessy said. "He has good speed. He's still improving. He's very good with his hips."

Scout.com rates Adams as the No. 7 player overall in North Carolina. His other finalist was North Carolina. The Under Armour game is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday on ABC.
