Texas D-1 Ambassadors wrap up Big Shots Myrtle Beach with title

The Texas D-1 Ambassadors out of Austin, Texas, defeated the Georgia Blazers on Sunday night to win the Atlantic Slam bracket championship of the Big Shots Myrtle Beach 2 AAU basketball tournament at Socastee High.

The event, which included two tournaments pi55 Big Shots Myrtle Beach 1 (Thursday-Friday) was the other pi55 concluded with Sunday's championship. The Texas D-1 Ambassadors avenged their championship loss to Team Takeover in the first tournament Friday. The games were played at several area schools.

The Dallas Seawolves' Perry Jones was named the event's Most Outstanding Player.
