  • New restaurant opens

    La Pizza, located on Pine Island Drive near McAlister's Deli, is now open. The eatery features an array of pizzas, Italian specialties, sandwiches, salads and more. In addition to pizzas with traditional toppings, specialty pizzas are also offered. Cheese Steak, Buffalo Chicken and other flavors are featured. Strombolis, calzones, pasta and favorites such as chicken parmigiana are also on the menu. Low carb wraps and salads are also available for those watching their waistlines. Prices range from $15.95 for a large specialty pizza to $3.25 for a hamburger. Free delivery. Open Monday-Saturday at 11 a.m. and Sunday at noon. 712-2686
