Horry County Council Chairwoman Liz Gilland will be one of the guests at the Myrtle Beach Republican Club' s meeting Monday at Max & Erma's Restaurant in Carolina Forest.
Steve Gosnell, the county's director of infrastructure and regulations, will update the club on plans for the Carolina Forest area., according to a news release. Roads, a library, a community center and additional recreational areas will be discussed.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the restaurant, on S.C. 501 at Carolina Forest Boulevard.
