JENNIFER LOMBARDI | WATERFORD PLANTATION

Nature Trail

Did you know that Waterford Plantation has a Nature Trail? This trail is located in the center of the neighborhood and is a really great place to take a hike.

No motorized vehicles are allowed but you can ride your bike or walk. I would definitely check it out. The trail makes a ½ mile plus circle around a nature preserve. The preserve is at least 10 acres in size.

You can enjoy viewing all of the birds, wildlife, trees, plants and take a nice look at some of the ponds too. It makes you feel like we live in the country. John Nye, from the sales office, has even witnessed a bald eagle sitting in a tree.

The entrance is located off of Bayhaven between Harvest Drive and Westwind.

Firehouse Subs and Ocean Bay Middle School

Recently Ocean Bay Middle School had a fun-filled spirit night at Firehouse Subs. A portion of all of the sales went to the school and everyone received a special deal. Free chips and drinks with a sub order.

It was a great success. A big thank you to the owner! Everyone had a great time, an awesome dinner and I didn't have to cook.
