Tough day for Georgetown

It was not a good night for the teams from the port city of Georgetown.

In Minor League action Conway eliminated Georgetown in the bottom of the sixth inning 4-3. Today's game will be at 6:30 p.m. with Conway facing Surfside Beach.

In Major League action, Surfside Beach eliminated Georgetown 7-5. Today's game will have Surfside Beach facing Conway at 7 p.m.
