26th annual Taste of Town Winners

Nearly 11,000 people attended Tuesday's 26th annual Taste of the Town, which benefits St. Andrew Catholic School. Planning is already underway for next year's event, which will be Oct. 12.

The winners were:

  • Judged Entrée

    1st Place: Sea Captain's House (Tuna Tartar)

    2nd Place: Indo (Grouper Curry with white rice)

    3rd Place Omaha Steakhouse (Tartlet St. Jacques with pear and endive)

    Judged Dessert

    1st Place: Sea Captain's House (White Chocolate Pumpkin Cheesecake with spiced pecans and candied pumpkins)

    2nd Place: Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville (Passion Berry Fruit Mousse)

    3rd Place: Big Daddy's Roadhouse Grill (Cinnamon Chocolate Crepes with hazelnut chocolate mousse)

    People's Choice (Polled ages 13 and above)

    Favorite Entrée: Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse (Churrasco Plate: Brazilian sausage, chicken wrapped in bacon and picanha (roasted beef) with potato salad

    Favorite Dessert: Sea Captain's House (White Chocolate Pumpkin Cheesecake with spiced pecans and candied pumpkins)

    Kid's Choice (Polled ages 12 and under)

    Favorite Entrée: Pizza Hut

    Favorite Dessert: Ben & Jerry's

    2nd Place: Longbeard's

    3rd Place: Canipe's Candies & Chocolates

    Judged Small Booth

    1st Place: Fiesta Mexicana

    2nd Place: The Melting Pot

    3rd Place: Mr. Fish
