If you'd like to be astounded by one of the newest bars in Myrtle Beach, head over to Drink!, on site of the former blues/jazz club Gypsy's. That's where we hit for happy hour this week, and we're very impressed by the four venues in one. The tagline Drink MBSC indicates Drink- Myrtle Beach South Carolina, but MBSC also stands for Music, Bistro, Sushi and Coffee. From the outside, it appears to be small, but there are four rooms inside Drink! - a live music venue with a stage and low-table seating, a sushi bar, a billiard bar with pool tables and games, and a WiFi chill room, which has leather chairs, couches and wireless Internet access. The owner plans to put a coffee bar in there, too, as well as open up outdoor seating in a bamboo garden. Drink! is located in the Five Points area, across from Sun City Cafe and Palmetto Studios. Drink! keeps the jazz tradition alive by hosting a live jazz band every Wednesday night. You can also enjoy live music Tuesday through Saturday - usually acoustic or rock 'n' roll bands - starting around 9 p.m. The atmosphere of Drink! is casual, comfortable and friendly. Artwork covers the walls - it's a mix of local and national artists. Local artists can hang their artwork to sell, and Drink! has plans to host upcoming art shows as well. The venue room has a jazz club/lounge feel and the original mural left over from Gypsy's still decorates the wall behind the stage. During happy hour, which is 4-8 p.m. daily, you can enjoy $2 domestic beer bottles and vodka, and $3 import beer bottles and well drinks. You can also snack on half-price appetizers, including French fries, chicken fingers, chicken wings and cheese sticks. Drink!'s main menu is full of Asian/fusion cuisine, including a plethora of sushi options.

Tips | The nearest parking spots are on the street in front of Drink!, or in the public parking lot across the street. The putt-putt course behind Drink is also lenient about parking after 11 p.m.
