Eston J. Graham
GALIVANTS FERRY Eston Jenkins Graham, 80, husband of Bernice Mishoe Graham, of Pee Dee Hwy. South, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Graham is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mr. Graham was born November 4, 1928 in Aynor, a son of the late Walter and Ruby Huggins Graham. He was predeceased by one sister, Mabel Martin.
Mr. Graham was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and served in the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are two sons Randy Cox of Galivants Ferry and Dennis Jenkins Graham of Loris; one daughter Patricia "Patty" Grainger and her husband, Mitchell, of Green Sea; one sister, Sandra Edwards of Aynor; and one granddaughter, Kayla Michelle Graham of Conway.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Tidelands Hospice of Georgetown and his caregiver, Linda Aguirre.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Jordan and the Rev. Tyler Caines officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Home.

MYRTLE BEACH Thomas T. Hewitt Jr., 77, died Tuesday, October 22, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Hewitt was born in Conway, a son of the late Thomas T. Hewitt Sr. and Ola Royals Hewitt. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. Mr. Hewitt was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are his wife, Erlene Montgomery Hewitt of Myrtle Beach; one daughter, Brenda H. (Tony) West of Myrtle Beach; one son, Thomas M. (Mary S) Hewitt of Myrtle Beach; one granddaughter, Brandy E. West of Myrtle Beach; one step-granddaughter, Marie B. (Eddie) Davis; two step-grandsons, Thomas Barnhill of New Orleans, La. and Glenn Barnhill of Myrtle Beach; one step-great-granddaughter, Dixie Lynn Davis of Conway; and one step-great-grandson, Edward Andrew Davis Jr. of Conway.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2009 in Hillcrest Magnolia Mausoleum with the Rev. Steven Semones officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Mausoleum, also at the daughter's residence from 4 until 6 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2009.

Born in Morrann, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Mary and John Lucas, Sr. Mr. Lucas was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Chabala.

Charles W. Shearer IV
LITTLE RIVER Charles W. Shearer IV (Chuck), 47, of Little River, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at his home.
Born on October 12, 1962 in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Charles W. and Nancy Strobel Shearer III.
He graduated from Upper Merion Area High School in 1980 and as a long time resident of King of Prussia, Pa. he worked for 27 years at 3-D Auto Parts.
Other than his parents, Nancy and Bud Shearer of Murrells Inlet, Mr. Shearer is survived by his wife of 25 years, Dayna M. Aldworth Shearer of Little River; two sons, Andrew (Meghan) Shearer of Limerick, Pa. and Brandon Shearer of Little River; one brother, Damon (Kellie) Shearer of King of Prussia, Pa.; and one sister, Cheryl (Scott) Kohl of Myrtle Beach.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Valley Forge Presbyterian Church, King of Prussia, Pa.

Born February 15, 1920 in New York City, N.Y., he was the son of the late Henry and Hazel Thode.
Mr. Thode was a World War II, U.S. Army retired veteran. He was also a retired computer programmer and a long time member of Belin Memorial United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Eunice Thode of Pawleys Island; son, Ralph H. Thode Jr. of Haymarket, Va.; four grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2009 at Belin Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. B. Mike Alexander Jr. and the Rev. Maurice E. Nason Jr.

Marilyn A. Wilson
CAROLINA SHORES, N.C. Marilyn Anne Wilson, 73, of Carolina Shores Parkway, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Wilson was born on July 3, 1936 and raised in Staten Island, N.Y. She was a daughter of the late John and Ethel Robetski Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Robert Wilson Jr. on December 2, 2006.
She was a graduate of the Port Richmond High School. Mrs. Wilson met her husband and continued staying in contact with him while he was serving in Korea and later marrying him when he was back stateside. She retired as a bookkeeper with A&P after many years of service. Her passions included reading, gardening, and was an avid ballroom dancer. The loves of her life were her grandchildren.
Surviving are her two sons, Thomas R. Wilson III and wife, Jill, and Michael J. Wilson, and wife, Sonia, all of Staten Island; daughter, Susan Crudele and husband, Tom, of Cary, N.C.; sister, Jeanne Hough and husband, Walter, of Calabash, N.C.; and five grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2009 in the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, North Myrtle Beach.
