What it means | Council candidates want smooth completion of both the sewer system and the new bridge to the island. Some say they want to improve communication between the town and its residents.

What they said | "I'm pleased that the people think I'm doing a good job and want me back," said Lou DeVita, an incumbent who kept his council seat. "We'll continue making the improvements. ... We have a strategic plan, and all of it hinged on getting the sewers and bridge done first. ... A lot of that, that we had planned was put on the back burner" until the bridges and sewer projects are complete.
