South Carolina state salaries database

This database contain names, positions and salaries of state and local government employees making $50,000 or more a year in base salary, as furnished by the agencies in response to S.C. Freedom of Information Act requests by McClatchy Newspapers. This information was updated February 2009.

You can search by partial name statewide, a partial name in an agency, or all employees in an agency.

To search by name, type in all or part of a first or last name. Then choose an agency, or hit "Submit" to search all agencies.

To search by agency, just pull down the agency's name and hit "Submit." Leave the name blank.

To search by salary range, select the range from the dropdown and leave all other fields blank.

This database will display 150 records per search. Narrow your search (by name, salary range or department) if you don't find the data you are seeking.
