WAYNE GRAY

Official dedicated to people of MB

I knew Wayne Gray as a teenager and now know him on a professional and social level. Wayne and I have worked together on several projects with our church and in our community, and I have come to appreciate his commitment to Myrtle Beach.

If re-elected, I know he will continue to serve us well as a member of council, and will be fair and open-minded to all the citizens' concerns. So, please vote for Wayne on Tuesday.

Adam Parness

Parness will serve citizens well

Adam Parness needs to be elected Myrtle Beach City Council. I've known Adam for more years than I can count. I served with him in law enforcement, worked with him when he was chairman of the county planning commission, and prayed with him when he was in the hospital recovering from life-saving surgery. He is a man of integrity, character, caring and leadership. He will truly serve the citizens of Myrtle Beach greatly. I fully endorse his campaign.

PAIGE SAWYER

Incumbent needs to stay on

As Tuesday approaches, and another election is looming, one candidate for City Council stands out among the many that are running for the three seats up for re-election. That candidate is Paige Sawyer.

Paige has shown his ability to get the job done on several occasions when I have had the need to contact him on various matters. He has always returned my calls promptly and answered my questions and concerns. If he did not immediately know the answer, he has always investigated the situation and gotten back to my husband and I as soon as possible.

I feel that the need to have someone on the council that has experience is crucial in these tough financial times. We are facing more cuts and less revenue and someone who has already shown that they can get the job done would be, in my opinion, an asset. He has questioned some of the wastes in past years and I think it would be wise to re-visit these areas again as possible means of saving.

Please consider a vote for Paige when you go to the polls Tuesday.

Consider your vote carefully

Unite! This is time for the elections. If you want to get rid of the actual council you have to unite. Evaluate your new candidates and vote for the one you consider will work with the people. Vote for the one who shows the positive attitude and an education, cares for the interest of everybody.
