I am getting tired of reading the misinformation and distortions of Dan Abel being presented as scientific fact. He is either totally ignorant of Earth's history or intentionally chooses to ignore it to promote his political agenda.

Let's set the record straight about climate change:

1. The climate has been changing (warming and cooling periods) since the beginning of time.

2. The temperature of the Earth has gone up one degree in the last 100 years.

3. When ice melts on one side of the Earth, it builds up on the other side (it is called seasons).

4. The Earth has been much hotter, and much colder than it is today.

5. Living things fare much better when the Earth is hotter.

6. No human activity has been proven to cause climate change.

7. CO2 levels in the atmosphere do not make temperatures go up. History shows us that temperatures rise before CO2 levels do.

8. The warmest and coldest periods in Earth's history occurred long before people were involved in any industrial activities.

9. There is no consensus in the scientific community that people cause climate change. Thousands of scientists worldwide have come out against this. More would do so if governments around the world did not threaten to take away their research funding.

10. Man-made climate change is a scam used by governments worldwide to raise taxes on wealthy nations and redistribute the wealth to poor ones. This is why countries like China and India are exempt from having to conform to treaties on emissions.
