WOMANIZER: BREAKING DOWN BRITNEY'S NEW VID
Britney Spears has come a long way from "The New Mickey Mouse Show." Starting with her first big hit at the age of 17, "...Baby One More Time," her music videos have gotten progressively more provocative with the pop star donning less and less clothing. Her newest video, "Womanizer," reaches, thus far, the peak of her career for showing the most skin.

Spears plays four different characters in new the video, each manipulating a man by grabbing him by his tie and jerking him around. The video starts with the singer lying in a sauna completely naked; only the camera angle keeps the audience from seeing it all. When she isn't completely nude, she plays a half-naked girlfriend fixing her man breakfast; an office employee attired in black glasses and dress suit; a waitress giving her customer more than he ordered; and a sexy cab driver. In each scenario she manages to find herself straddling the male lead.
Seth Smith, a student at CoastalCarolina University, found the video "scandalous." "At one time, 'Toxic' was a video that was on the edge as she was nude with sparkles covering her, but in the new video she is just completely nude," he said.
"All of Britney's music videos are scandalous," said Rainee Marshall a senior at CCU, "but what really sticks out about 'Womanizer' is the fact that she is nude."
In the restaurant scenes of "Womanizer," Spears pushes her lead male actor onto a kitchen counter, where she hovers over him and ties a knot into a cherry stem. Later, she Xeroxes her butt, another peak in outrageousness among Spears' videos.
"I wasn't surprised to see that she decided to have a nude part to the video," said Erin Caswell a senior at Coastal Carolina, "She is always pushing the envelope for some sort of controversy."
