Another classic toy and cartoon franchise comes to the big screen. This time it's G.I. Joe, and like other recent toy-based movie adaptations, this one doesn't disappoint. M.A.R.S. owner James McCullen (Christopher Eccleston) has created a nanotechnology-based weapon capable of destroying an entire city and sells it to NATO.
"Orphan"

In "Orphan," Kate (Vera Farmiga) and John Coleman (Peter Sarsgaard) are having problems in their marriage after the couple's third child is stillborn. The loss is hardest on Kate, who is recovering from a drinking problem that caused her to lose her job.
"State of Play"

Based on the BBC miniseries, this story of political scandal is sort of a throwback. It is told from the floor of a newsroom. Russell Crowe plays an old-school journalist, putting the role of a newspaper man in perspective.
