"Obsessed"
Let me start by saying three nice things. First, I think the lead actor from this movie is a fine actor; Idris Elba has done some fine work in the past. Second, Ali Larter is great on TV's "Heroes." And third, I love Beyonce's music. I mean come on, Destiny's Child was awesome and her solo stuff is pure diva quality - the stuff that Madonna and Mariah Carey are cut from. Now let me finish by saying three things that are not so nice ... but honest. First, this film is nothing more than a heap of bad acting interrupted every 30 minutes by a music-video-style montage set to a Beyonce song. Second, most people sit through this whole movie to get to the cat fight between Beyonce and Larter - spoiler alert ... it is not worth it - it is full of bad dubbing and clichés. Third, this is just a terrible movie. From Beyonce hammering out her lines like a typewriter to the same plot twists that you have seen a million times, this has been done before and better, at least a half-dozen times in the past. I am obsessed with how bad this film is - please, I implore you, do not rent it.
